Name: The Lady of Veils
Species: Fox
Age: 24
Magical Affinity: Water/Dark
The Lady of Veils is a vixen, specifically the kemonomimi variety with fox ears, a tail, golden and cat-like eyes, and exceptionally sharp teeth. Given the nature of her world, she tends to hide her animal nature, though. A small illusionary spell with her Dark magic makes her eyes appear dark brown and human. She wears long, heavy dresses and scarves to cover her tail and ears. Said ears are rather mangled from an encounter with unkind humans in her youth, so she'd likely keep them covered, either way.
She is a charlatan by trade, posing as a fortune-teller and medium. She typically travels with her cart, which is where she received her name. The inside is draped with veils, fine fabrics, anything she could get her hands on that was soft. It's also decorated with trinkets she's stolen and 'earned' from various marks. While she's relatively young, the Lady tends to play up the 'wise old crone' image as part of her act and will affect a limp or apparent injury if she thinks it will help her earn someone's sympathy. She might also affect one if she's just feeling lazy and doesn't want to work... which is strikingly often.
The Lady has a rather rare affinity for two elements and can use Water and Dark magics equally well. She has a habit of melding the two for her spells, and uses them as part of her act when it suits her. Or when she just wants to play pranks on humans. That's an excellent use on them, as well.
